Journal Page and Inchie

Hi All and welcome to a new week at Jumbled Crafts. Always great when you drop in, thank you for your visit.

A couple of reminders before I start my challenges post. Tag Tuesday finishes the Birds and Nests challenge tomorrow night so hope you can fit something in today before the next challenge starts early Tuesday morning. Also
Try it on Tuesday has another week for you to join in with the Botanical theme so plenty of time to think of something for that challenge-I hope to see you there.

At Every Inchie Monday this week the subject is Parrot. You wouldn't believe the wonderful inchie made by some of the gang. Sewing, beading artwork--amazing.

At Art Journal Journey this time the challenge is hosted by Hazel and she has chosen Magical Mystery Tour for the whole of April.

I made a Beatles Page. I was in love with John Lennon from the start even though I was married with my first child when the Beatles started to become popular. The quotes of John Lennon words of wisdom depending on which side of the fence you are sitting. I have been to the Cavern in Liverpool and seen the Beatles story there on the dockside.

Here I am with the Beatles at Madame Tussaud's in Blackpool two years ago. Fortunately I didn't sing or we would have been thrown out.

Have a great day

Love Chrissie xx

  1. Wow.. I love your inchie and I adore your fantastic Beatles page Chrissie! Absolutely amazing! Thank you very much for creating such a beautiful entry to the April theme at AJJ! You made my day!
Have a good start into the new week. Here it seems that the clouds are dominant today - no sun yet. I fear the weather turns bad again after some wonderful springlike days.

  6. I really enjoyed your inchie today. I think it is beautiful and nicely colored.

Please don't disown me, but I was never a big fan of the Beatles. Their rise to fame was before my time, and by the time I recognized them for their abilities, I was just out of my teens and it was the 80s. Unfortunately, I was stuck in the 70s with the hard rock groups I loved (and still do).

I had never heard of The Cavern Club in Liverpool until Jo shared a journal page from there one T Tuesday. So glad you made this page, because it definitely made me feel sad I didn't know (or appreciate) them back then.

  19. I love your inchie! Your journal page is brilliant although George was always my favourite! I remember hearing 'Love me Do' on a tinny sounding transistor radio during a lunch break at school and we all went crazy for it before we had even heard of the Beatles! Those were the days!!!!
