T is for Tea Bags and Tag Tuesday

Thank you for calling in at Jumbled Crafts and a special hello and Happy T Day if you are here from Elizabeth's  blog. If you have called in to see what the
Tag Tuesday theme is for the next 2 weeks it is at the bottom of the post.

I have been busy making things for my daughter for a sale to raise funds for Cat Protection. She chairs the fund raising committee and brings me lots of crafting stuff to make what I like for the sales. She is coming with her husband to stay on Friday for a few days so I thought I would spend some time making things for her to take back for the summer fund raising event.

I have made 40 of these tea bag holders and even sewn tags onto the tea bags. The holders were all printed ready for me to cut out and assemble and I designed the little sticker and the words as they seemed to fit the package. The images were downloaded from Cooper Station way back in 2013 and have been used many times. I had my usual drink to hand while I worked happily for a few hours.

At Tag Tuesday this time the theme is Things with Wings but no birds as we had Bird Tags last time. Lots of other things have wings so let you imagination run wild and I hope you will join in with us at Tag Tuesday

This is a silly one with me floating away. I revived an old postcard I made years ago to make this tag. The doll was a cut out and the limbs moved because of the brads. I even made her a fabric shirt.

This one is digital with fantasy insects. The images were in a colouring book I am working my way through at the moment. Hope you will join us and remember to have fun

Love Chrissie xx

  2. Both tags are fantastic, but the digital one has me laughing and laughing. I can envision you flying away and how you added brads to the arms, neck, and legs. Loved the costume, too.

I am SO impressed with your helping your daughter. Seems you are always doing something crafty to help out her Cat Protection. You have put a LOT of work into these, too. I'm sure they will sell well.

Thanks for sharing these tea bag holders, lovely tags, and your water with us for T this Tuesday.
