China Town

I seem to be playing catch-up this week and haven't been really happy with a lot of the things I have made :(

At Dragon's Dream TIO the challenge is to make an Asian themed tag.

I used two of my stamps and tried to emboss them with white but I am still not very good at all at embossing. They do say practice makes perfect but any tips will be appreciated.

  1. Lovey tag Chrissie and yes it's all down to practice :)
    Keep at it

  2. Lovely tag Chrissie. Your stamping and embossing looks great. The result of the embossing will be effected by the design of the stamp image and the embossing powder you are using. In my humble opinon-I am no expert. Say, you have a very intricate design then you may need to use a finer embossing powder to avoid any blur. It is a bit of trial and error.

  3. Beautiful tag, I agree with the others, keep practising, you are sure to find a way that suits your style.

  4. Interesting effect and unusual colour combination which looks fresh and great.

  5. great tag Chrissie, try an anti-static bag and finer powder. thanks for sharing with us at Dragons Dream TIO this week. Elizabeth x

  6. You've taken wonderful asian images, great tag. Thanks for dreaming with us on TIO this week.
Perhaps you try colored inkpads and clear embossing powder.

  7. Super images you have chosen for your tag. Try using ultra fine ep and an anti static bag. Thanks for joining us this week on the TIO challenge.
