Green and Orange

Hi All. Still quite hot here so I have been having a rest day after the long walk yesterday. We only saw the Gala from outside the fence as there was thousands of people turning up to join the very long queue. Also lots going on inside by the time we arrived so it will have been a crowded day for them in the full sun. We did see lots of the things because we walked around the perimeter.

American vehicles display

Helicopter rides--Sewerby Hall in the background

The queue that kept growing all the time as people walked along the cliff top.

And still they come---the view as we walked back home we live in the far distance on the other side of town.

This time at the Craft-room the challenge is Green Inspiration and they have a beautiful picture board to inspire us

Made this card using the picture for inspiration and wonderful Gecko Galz images.

At Every Inchie Monday the theme this week is Orange

Mines a bit boring--just an orange and an orange background

Thank you for dropping by Jumbled Crafts

Love Chrissie xx

Such a pretty orange -so deep in colour. Is that what you call a blood red orange?

Wow, that was some queue! It looks like all Yorkshire was standing there! Well done on all that walking. Love the card you made, too, and your inchie - I am always amazed what you can get onto an inchie! Had a busy day here, and will be heading for bed when I have done my blog visits! Hugs, Valerie

Lovely photos! I love green and those ladies are so elegant! Your orange inchie is such a lovely deep warm colour. Your post reminds me of my sisters house in the seventies where she had green and orange curtains and lots of stuff to match. I have loved those colours and the combination ever since! xx

Love the deep color of the orange. I am really a big fan of the color orange. So this is great. I love the pictures from your day out & i dont blame you from staying away from the crowds. group heat sucks even worse when it is already boiling out!

WOW! That is a lot of people! My boss plays cricket, which isn't usual here in California! But, he's from Guyana. Never seen it live myself. Is there an actual cricket match played? What is the queue for? Just to get in the fences? Your town looks gorgeous and right on the water. What a beautiful place to live!

Love your card and your inchie isn't boring at all! I like that background it's on =)
