Inchie

Hello Everyone and Happy Bank Holiday Monday to those of you in England today. It is wet and cold so not the sort of weather to tempt me outside at all. Hope it is better where you are and thank you for visiting Jumbled Crafts.

At Every Inchie Monday the theme is quartz crystal. I hadn't a clue what to do at all but there are already some great ideas by fellow inchiers

I found a picture of some beautiful quartz and decoupaged it a few times. I used to have some pieces similar to this but they have got lost along life's way unfortunately.

Hope you have a really great day

Love Chrissie x

Enjoy your Bank Holiday. I never understood the purpose of them but I did enjoy them when I lived in England. Love your inchie! I think it is a rite of passage that we all have crystals just like these that we all seem to lose along the way. Great job!

Beautiful inchie, just wonderful to think it's only 1" square! Just got back from my walk, it stayed dry till now, is cool and cloudy, so was nice for walking along the shore. Will write later! Hugs, Valerie

Love the glowing colours on this one Chrissie, and like Valerie says, all on an inch. It really is Bank Holiday weather today isn't it, in fact Neil has just put the heating on (he usually keeps that as my Christmas present):-) xx

I have the feeling I keep having to apologize to you dear Chrissie for not being around much these past couple of days, things continue to be extremely hectic at work, don't have nearly enough blogging time as I'd like, nor do I have the time to create much, terribly sorry about this, but now that I DO have some spare time, I love coming over to your blog and I'm enjoying myself immensely. Love your posts, you have been so active and very very creative, too! Hugs, Ira xox

Chrissie, I love what you have done with this week's challenge! It was a hard one to figure out how to get the real affect of a crystal. But wow, you are spot on!! Perfect use of decoupage!! Just lovely! :0) Share humanity

I love how the decoupaged layers give the effect of the facets of the quartz - so clever.
