Journal Page and Face

Hello Everyone. I am a bit late today as I had my last session with the dentist and we are also still going almost every day to visit MIL at home as she is very frail at the moment and even with lots of carers etc needs extra help that they don't do. Hope your day has gone well and thank you for visiting Jumbled Crafts on your blog travels.

At Art Journal Journey there is still the theme Autumn Colours and wonderful artwork from the entries so far

I have another page with real leaves that I collected a couple of days ago. The cold weather and strong winds mean there are hardly any leaves left on the trees but the pathways are ankle deep in wonderful shapes and colours. I brought some home and drieid them out a bit them stuck them to a painted background and wrote my words in white pen.

My face for Kim Dellow this week is just one I made up

Not sure why I stuck pins in her but I think it may be how I was feeling at the time I drew her in charcoal and chalk.

Love Chrissie xx

Love the journal page with the leaves, lovely colours. Sorry Mollie is so frail, will write tomorrow morning, glad you got the dentist finished. Perhaps the lady is having acupuncture.... Hugs, Valerie

These leaves are beautiful... good idea to use them in your art! I don't know if I should laugh at your lady's predicament or cry... but she does look a tad uncomfortable!

Fab new header (apologies if it's been there for ages and I've only just noticed!). Glad to hear your dental visits are done. It sounds as though you've quite enough going on with looking out for your MIL. Hope you are finding some time for you too.

It looks as though you are from your fabulous journal page. I love the rich colours of your leaves - well collected - and the white words really pop.

Great face, especially with the drama of the pins sticking in - that tells a real story about what's going on inside.
