Journal Page

Hello Everyone from a wet and dull NE UK coast. It seems to have been wet and dull for weeks and I would love to see the sun again.

Great to see the beautiful entries for Art Journal Journey that are many and varied. Hope you will join in with the Winter Wonderland theme that I am hosting for Susi and Valerie.

This is a digital page and the background is one from the very talented Astrid. The link will take you to her freebies page and there are so many wonders to inspire you to make something. I added various things and changed it to black and white but most of the images were already on the page before I added anything at all. Thank you Astrid.

Hope your day is going well and thank you for calling in.

Love Chrissie xx

This is wonderful Chrissie and so glad you could use one of my freebies for it! So happy I just happened to see this post as I have been very little on-line in the last few weeks! Really love what you did with the freebie and thanks so much for the shout out too!xxx

Completely agree about the constant grim greyness - there have been occasional half hours where the sun has broken through (and I dash out to take project photos, sometimes with the rain still spattering down!) but it's starting to feel ridiculous.

Love your wintry snowflake page - what a great saying, I've not heard that before (I shall take "snowflake" as an additional pseudonym when necessary) - and you've made lovely use of Astrid's background.

Chrissie, I love your quote and page. I wish for a few snowflakes...getting rain and dreary days. Two days of sunshine, though.

Blessings,

I love how the black and white makes this page feel a little bit chilly but so sophisticated!

This is a beautiful challenge entry. I am no good with digital, so I am always in awe on anyone who understands it. I like the monochromatic aspect of it, too.

I had NO idea the card I used on my AJJ entry was a Christmas rose. I'm so glad you told me, because I just liked the picture.
