Journal Page and card

Hello Everyone from a wet, windy and cold NE UK coast. It feels like winter has arrived without any warning here today. Hope it is nice where you are.

At Art Journal Journey this month Susi is the host. We are asked to make a collage with no faces, no leaves and no wings. I seem to have made a few but all of them had one of the forbidden on it.

I am hoping that today deeper concentration and double checking have worked on this collage made from bits and pieces in my scrap box. It is made on the front page of a magazine and I intend to use some more of the pages for this challenge.

I did use a Kanban stamp for the man on the right and also a sentiment stamp which I used the wrong way on try number one.

Also I have made something for the Country View Challenges where the theme this time is star

I made a card for the baby next door to us as it will be his first Christmas. He was born on July 18th and the house is now full of 'baby' with plans to buy so many things for him at Christmas--they will need to knock through to our house I reckon. The teddy stamp is Forever friend but I don't know who makes the backing paper

Have a great day

Love Chrissie xx

Lovely page for AJJ, glad you have discovered the trick for eradicating faces! Thanks for joining us again at AJJ. I am sure next door's baby will love the colourful card. People mostly buy kids much too much, so I hope they don't overflow into your place! Have a nice Sunday, thanks for the mail, hugs, Valerie

Wet and disappointing here today, think it must be a jewellery day! Lovely card for baby's 1st Christmas, is Mum going to keep everything for him when he grows up? They might have to give you a really good price for your place and Vic and get his move to Blackpool hehehe

Great AJJ page Chrissie - I like the reminder on the ticket about what not to have (I always just seem to gravitate towards images with these things on must leave myself a note out).
Your card for babies first Christmas is really adorable.. I've seen some people have their decorations up already - I guess it won't be that long as the days seem to fly.
Lovely sunshine here but much cooler and had a frost a couple of days ago too... brr ... Happy Sunday to you - Gill xx

Lots to see on your collage, it's super. I like your check list just to remind yourself and us. I had to laugh at the idea of the baby's presents over-flowing into your house. I hope the baby appreciates the gifts and the card. Teddy cards are the best IMO.

Thanks for such a creative idea to the theme and the card is just lovely - The babie's parents will like the card and the gifts for sure!
Same wintery weather here - even snow!

I started an AJJ collage today and stopped about 1/3 of the way through because I had one of the forbidden elements. This is so much harder than I possibly imagined, as I suspect it is for you. But you did a great job with this one. I like how you covered the faces.

That baby is going to be spoiled for Christmas, and your card is further proof. It's adorable.

Quite a difficult challenge your first make.. You did very well and there are some beautiful images to look at (the part that aren't hidden!). Love your Christmas card too, very cute, and perfect for our theme at Country View Challenges this month. xx
