T stands for Tuesday this and that

Hello Everyone. Thank you for calling in at Jumbled Crafts.

I am a bit late as I had to to the doctors first thing and I have to back again at noon so not much time to do other things today I reckon.

Elizabeth at Altered Book Lover is inviting us to join her for the usual T is for Tuesday get together, I haven't made anything special for the 'drink' related posts this week but I do have a few things to share.

Happy T Day to all the Tea Gang

Just made some coffee-always love the smell of it fershly made

Santa came along our road last night with lots of elves collection got local charities.

Pictures taken in Scarborough last week

If  you ever go to Scarborough be sure to seek out the old market hall. The market is being refurbished and that will mean a lot of the character with be taken away but the if you delved deeper and go for a walk in the cellar it is full of little shops and some even sell craft stuff and are happy to share tales of how they make things. I really hope this doesn't change
The harbour and the castle on top of the hill. Nice walk for miles along the seafront but I like to explore the back streets that climb up to the town I just love the back street that runs parallel to the sea front it is like being in by gone era in parts.

This was parked outside one of the old cottages Not sure whether it is caravan or a camper van or a bit of both.
This is a very old building that has been modernised. A plaque says it was the oldest pub in Scarborough.

After all the walking we popped into the Orchard Garden cafe for tea and cake. Sorry the cake had gone by the time I took the photograph

Love Chrissie xx

I see you have a French press. I like the taste of the coffee that comes from them, but hate cleaning the little basket containers each time. That keeps me from owning one. I had one and gave it away because I just couldn't take the constant cleaning each time I wanted to make a pot, which is about four times a day.

I'm from the states (DUH) and rather ignorant of geography, but is that the same Scarborough the Beatles sing about? The sights are fantastic, and I'm thrilled you took us with you as you showed us the town and harbor. It looks like a wonderful place to visit.

My other question is, is that the same Santa as before? People who only read your blog on Tuesday will just have to look back and see the lovely story, if they haven't already.

Yep, I'd have eaten the cream cake, too. I hope Vic got a piece, though.

Thanks for sharing your lovely photos, your coffee, and your tea with us for T this Tuesday.

You didn't leave me a piece of cake? Never mind, I enjoyed seeing Scarborough. I have been there once in horrible weather, several years ago. We walked along the seafront and found it so dingy that we got back in the car and left. But you have shown me a much nicer picture and have redeemed Scarborough for me.
That cara/campervan is certainly a strange contraption. Looks fun though.
Thanks for your kind comments, let me know if Vic enjoys the book.
Happy T day,
Lisca

What a lovely place to visit! And what could be better than a walk on the seafront and I love the old market with the craft stalls in the cellar :-). The old cottages look so charming and full of character too. Tea and a cream cake sounds perfect and your photo made me smile ... it must have been delicious, lol :-). Happy T Day! J :-)

Hi Chrissie, a lovely post today. It's a good few years since I visited Scarborough, and I enjoyed the photos. The caravan/camper looks fabulous, wonder what it's like inside?
Hope everything went OK at the Dr's.

I'm not a coffee drinker but I just love your mugs. And I always love seeing places and being an armchair traveler, when I can't be there myself, and seeing Scarborough is great. Its interesting here in New England because we have so many places named after placed in England, and its interesting to see what the original places look like. Happy T day. Hugs-Erika

Oh my gosh, look at that old building, the pub - whoa - it is so awesome that it is still standing, renovated and in use. Love it! And I also love the smell of freshly brewed coffee, or a freshly opened can of coffee beans - mmmhmmm-
Happy T Day!

Scarborough looks absolutely charming. You got some fabulous photos. I laughed at the camper/van/whatever. That is some parking job! I couldn't park what close to a wall without taking lots of paint off my car ;-)

Happy T Day, Chrissie!
