Try it on Tuesday-Garden and Tag

Hi All and a big welcome to Jumbled Crafts. Always great to have people call in and thank you for all the comments you leave here

Today we start a new challenge at Try it on Tuesday and the theme is' In My Garden'. Not everyone has a garden so it could be one you dream about, make up or visit sometimes--just do what you think will fit the theme best for you.
If you need any ideas our wonderful team have made projects to inspire you so pop along to TIOT to see their makes and also why not visit their blogs if you have time.

I made a double sided pocket card and a matching envelope to send it in. Not easy to photograph through the plastic sleeve. All the flower photographs were taken in our garden by Vic and growing there at the time. The garden is small but has lots of wonderful shrubs and flowers.

The above pictures aren't as clear as in real life as they are in the plastic pockets

These are the photographs printed out ready to cut to fit the pockets

Garden quotes and sayings I found in various place and made small enough to fit my ATC size cards.

A reminder that there is still a week to join in with us at Tag Tuesday so hope to see you there as well in our scraps challenge. It is going well with some wonderful entries and ideas

Most of this tag is an old embroidered handkerchief  that had lace at one corner. It had worn into holes in parts but I knew it would be useful one day. The rest of the tag is little bits of card, ribbon and rickrack-some made into small flowers.

Adding this to Go Tag Thursday as well where Anything goes this week

Have a great day

Love Chrissie xx

  6. Oh my Chrissie! This is fabulous, such a wonderful idea and beautiful photos - and I do love those garden quotes - may just have to borrow a few of those!! I love how you continued the garden theme with your scrap tag too! I am still battling with my machine - having uncovered it and had a little practice it just gave up on me and refused to do any more!!! Hugs, Chrisx
