Try it on Tuesday Call of Spring

Hello Everyone

Thank you for visiting Jumbled Crafts and for your comments.

Try it on Tuesday have a very beautiful Mood Board made by their team member Valerie.  All the team have made wonderful samples to give everyone ideas. The whole post makes it feel like Spring Time is here.

I found images that tied in with the mood board and made them into a collage in Paint Shop Pro. The  card blank is black and 8 inches square so lots of space to add two patterned papers, my image and some Kanban greeting strips.

On Thursday we went to Whitby on the train and bus as it was such a beautiful sunny day for a change.

The old lighthouse was open to the public and we had never seen it open before. Vic climbed up to the top but my poor old knees didn't want to go.

This is Vic at the very top taking a photograph of me

This is me sitting in the shade waiting for him to come back down. I am taking the photograph of him up above.

Great views all around Whitby from the top of lighthouse, so I was told, and also of the abbey ruins on the cliff top.

Nice time of year to go to Whitby as any later and the place is so crowded it is difficult to see much at all.

Have a great weekend

Love Chrissie xx

  8. I love the colours in your beautiful Spring card - the blue is just like the skies we have all been waiting for! I haven't been to Whitby for years so it was great to see your photos! My knees could probably have got to the top of the tower, but I would not have liked coming down! Hugs, Chrisx
