2nd on the 2nd

Hi All from a very wet and dreary NE UK coast.

I was just catching up on a bit of commenting and saw Elizabeth's 2nd on the second. I haven't joined in many things at all for quite sometime but I know how special Earth Day/Month and recycling are to Elizabeth so I thought I would repost something I made last year for her bEARTHday celebrations. I didn't send her the piece because I thought it was something she could make so easily herself. The original post is here

Made from--Old coffee tin, piece of left over border, something that smells nice and faded tissue paper that I had kept for packing delicate objects.

Have a happy Earth Day/Month all and happy recycling. Also a Happy T Day to all the people who join in there with Elizabeth. I will be back soon to join you I hope.

Love Chrissie xx

  1. What an honor for you to share this with us again this year. And what an honor you bestowed on me when you created it for my Earth Month and bEARTHday celebration, too. This is such a deserving entry, and I love it as much today as I did the first time I saw it on your blog last year. Thanks for sharing it again as your second look on the 2nd. It's still a favorite recycled project in my book.

  2. Wonderful recycled project Chrissie, glad you linked it again. Enjoy your Easter Monday, hugs, Valerie

  3. This was fantastic recycling and a great idea to use things normally going into the recycling bin.
