Sorry I haven't been commenting for a while but we decided to take off to Blackpool at short notice as their weather forecast was much better than ours at the time. We had a wonderful break with lots of sight seeing and walking.
Unfortunately I broke my glasses and they couldn't be repared, still haven't been, but Vic did a bit of fixing so I can now do a bit of crafting again until I can get new glasses.
At Tag Tuesday the theme, Baby Love, was chosen by Michelle
and at Try it on Tuesday they have the theme stencils / die-cuts or both and you have a few more days to enter that challenge.
My tag was made to fit both challenge and the photograph is me about 2 years old. It was taken professionally as I was the first child, grandchild, niece etc. Not sure why they needed a photograph as we all lived together in one house at that time with most of the menfolk away in war somewhere.
I used die-cuts of various makes for the flowers and as I tend to cut a bagfull all at the same time I am not sure which flower is what.
I am making a follow up tag for the Tag Tuesday challenge so will post that another day.
Have a great weekend
Love Chrissie xx

ReplyDeleteThis is incredible, Chrissie. I am sure the professional photo was for keepsake and to celebrate the first birth. You certainly were an adorable child and haven't changed much, looks wise, over the years, either!
ReplyDeleteSorry to read about your glasses. That can be a problem if you need them for close-up work.
Thank you for joining us over at TRY IT ON TUESDAY with this amazing tag Chrissie - you were such a cutie- good luck with the new glasses!
ReplyDeleteNot got them yet Susie-always good to join in at TIOT.

ReplyDeleteYour tag is most beautiful and my eye is catching same look in your smile as now:)
Wishing you have lovely Mothers Day and wonderful week ahead!
Hope your glasses get fixed soon Chrissy. Being a glasses wearer I know how difficult it is when they aren't right. Loving your tag. What a cute little baby. You were a cutie for sure. (I think it was more popular to do photos then professionally. I have some pretty silly ones of me.)
ReplyDeleteGood to hear there are a few of us with these type of photos
