Try it on Tuesday and Tag Tuesday

Hi All

What beautiful weather we are having at the moment and I am pleased to say we are taking full advantage and going out walking most days while it lasts.

The theme at Try it on Tuesday this time is Destinations and I think I could have made lots of entries for that from our own photographs.

This is a digital collage of some of our own photographs of Hull. As usual the train station isn't in the best of areas of the City but a short walk takes you to the centre with the amazing buildings. There is also the art gallery and the Maritine museum there both well worth a visit. When you have seen those head for the museum sector with so many places to visit there. If you still have some energy left, head down to the docks to see the wonders it has to offer. Lots of history all over the place in Hull and always look down the little alley ways to find the unexpected.

Now to Tag Tuesday where Wendy has chosen the theme Locks and Keys for the next 2 weeks.

I covered some card with alluminium tape then used a Tim Holtz embossing folder and black ink to make the background.

I had the three small locks in my bits and bobs box and found the quote on Google.

Have a great day all-I am going to have to tackle a bit of housework today as I have neglected it when the sunshines.

Love Chrissie xx

  5. Wow, I'd never heard of Hull, but the architecture is stunning. There isn't a train station in my town, yet it's the biggest city in the state. I love yours, whether in a bad part of town or not. It's a fabulous digital collage.

I really like your tag, too. Those three old tiny locks are fantastic. Most impressive. Hope your day is going well, dear Chrissie.

  8. A fantastic collage of your own photos Chrissie. We've passed through Hull on our way to the ferry, but never stopped, maybe it should be added to the list of destinations we have still to see.
The tag looks super with the metalic embossed background and a great quote as well.

  9. I really must get around to visiting Hull! Your collage is fabulous and your description certainly make me want is to be one of my destinations! So pleased you are linking to TIOT again. My only memory of Hull is travelling from Lincoln as a child on the day that there was a storm and the ferry stopped running after our trip across the Humber to get home! Oh boy! Did we feel ill!!!??? Hugs, Chris

  13. Fabulous tag Chrissie, and the page for TIOT is great. I loved going to the salife centre on our last visit to Hull. One of Peter's brothers live just North of Hull, so it's only a short trip from them.
